Infrared cabins

Infrared light (has been known and used since 1967) is a heat radiation that charges the body with energy.
Infrared cabins or also called infrared heat cabins play an increasing role in the area of saunas, as their effect is less of a strain to the body (gentle to the blood circulation). Many die-hard sauna fans are very sceptical about this sort of warm bathing / body cleansing, users of this sort of sauna however are almost enthusiastic about the direct heating up by radiation which is based on the sunlight.
A combination of sauna with infrared heating is a very effective alternative with certain diseases.
In fact, an infrared cabin/ infrared heat cabin, which is mostly made from solid wood, can be integrated with relatively little costs in the smallest of spaces (from about 1.5 square metres). The direct heating of the body is done by direct exposure to the radiation, the temperatures are about 50°C.
Infrared rays

The homogeneous distribution of the rays (no pointed radiation) in good cabins does exclude electric and magnetic radiation in most cases (the standards throughout Germany are below the EU-limits).
- Short-wave infrared radiation: direct radiation of the body (80%), to be compared to the sun, does have an effect in deeper veins and arteries, your body temperature will rise to about 38,5°C. Reduced heat of the surroundings (20%) and thus saves energy.
- Long-wave infrared radiation: Starts to be effective within the upper layers of your skin. Strong warming of the surrounding air, however only necessary with the symptoms of certain diseases. The energy saving thermal heat (fast heating) comes from so called radiators: Magnesium-, surface- or ceramic radiators. The heat is between 25°C and 80°C in dry air- as you like it.
The radiation causes a depth effect in your body in a heat bath of ca. 20-30 minutes and has become increasingly well-known due to the release of tensions in physiotherapy as well as the relief of colds. Coloured light- and aromatherapy are also possible inside the cabins.
TIP: Sweating and tanning
A combination of infrared heat and UV-radiation allow for two things within one cabin: Sweating and tanning! A sort of ultimate sauna-solarium - for your personal well-being.
