Sanarium
Not so hot & not so humid
Relaxing Sauna kind, as the face expression of the ladies betrays.
The Sanarium is the perfect solution (compromise) betweeh the classical sauna and the steam bath. The temperatures are between 40°C and 65°C with a relative air humidity of ca. 50%.
In a classic wooden sauna, a sanarium's function can be added without problems. However, a basic decision for this type of sauna is advantageous, as the materials can be matched in an ideal way.
Applications
A session in a sanarium takes about 20 minutes and has a harmonizing effect on your blood pressure (reducing) if done regularly. More and more public thermae and pools offer this sort of sauna on a regurlar basis.
Thus, many varieties of applications take place in the sanarium other than light therapy and dousing: herb baths, tropical baths, soft steam baths, warm air baths etc.
